From the untouched heart of Taranaki, New Zealand, in the remote hills of Ahititi, Kōtare Station has over 3,000 acres of dense indigenous bush, rich native birdlife and breathtaking views. Amongst thriving biodiversity we raise deer and produce an exquisite range of Mānuka, native and wild-flora honey, born from purity with rich flavour. We have two wonderful accommodation options, both with off-grid solar and hydropower to experience wild New Zealand. Kōtare Cottage
Our Kōtare Cottage sleeps up to 6 and is perfect for romantic getaways, city escapes and family holidays.
Spend the day hunting amongst native bush, exploring on our walk trails, or swimming in the natural waterholes. Unwind at night with under-cover outdoor seating, or relax in the outdoor baths with breathtaking views.
Kōtare Lodge
Our Kōtare Lodge sleeps up to 14 and is the perfect venue for hunting trips, adventure activities, family reunions and large group bookings.
Spend the day hunting amongst native bush, exploring on our walk trails, or swimming in the natural waterholes. Enjoy evenings in the game’s room with a pool table and dart board. Unwind at night by the outdoor fire pit or in the hot tub with breathtaking views.
